HR Comprehensive Service

HR Comprehensive Service

Our comprehensive HR service includes our other core packages as standard:

  • An annual website subscription with unlimited and full access to all the sector-specific templates, guidance and information we provide on a wide range of HR topics
  • Unlimited access to our Remote Services, providing telephone and email support Monday to Friday

Named HR Consultant

In addition, you will be assigned a named HR consultant who is able to build a close working relationship with you, allowing for greater understanding of your HR needs and more tailored support. Your HR consultant can support with more complex, strategic and reactive people management issues. When your named consultant is unavailable you will also have telephone access to an alternative HR consultant.

Access to this named consultant is unlimited for:

  • Telephone and email support
  • Support at formal meetings such as hearings (including pre-meetings) and appeals*
  • Attendance at formal consultation meetings with staff and/or unions, e.g. redundancy or restructuring, TUPE etc

* If additional consultants are needed for these meetings these will also be available on an unlimited basis.

Additional Meetings

In addition to this, the service level agreement we offer includes a fixed number of on-site meetings for up to two hours each:

  • One strategic planning meeting to facilitate a more proactive approach to HR support for your school, college or trust
  • A further two (for primary and special schools) or five (for secondary schools and MATs) meetings for HR matters as requested. These optional meetings could, for example, be used for attendance at investigation or informal meetings, redundancy selection interviews prior to the formal stages or one-to-one meetings with staff during a restructuring process.

How We Work

Our knowledge and experience has been built over many years from working with local authorities, academies and MATs, dioceses, maintained schools, independent schools and NMI schools. We have a track record of resolving complex situations and issues to achieve the best possible outcome, and this approach to problem-solving underpins our professional HR services.

Your consultant can be contacted by direct line telephone or email and meetings can be arranged via audio or web conferencing as well as face to face according to need.

Our consultants use the the same comprehensive call logging system as our Remote Service Desk to ensure that, whoever picks up your enquiry or request for support, we have all the records to hand so that you receive a seamless service.
