New for 2021, Strictly Education is hosting an online Inset Day on the 1st of September for all schools. Delivered by Microsoft Teams, the theme for the day is “A Focus on Wellbeing and Keeping Safe” and is designed to give confidence and a sense of wellness to staff taking part just as the new academic year is about to begin.
Guest speakers include Viv Trask-Hall from Thrive, Steve Barker of Better Governor and headteacher Kate Ellis will be exploring strategies for whole-school wellness. Teacher and hypnotherapist Miranda Creed-Miles will be answering the question “Why does your brain get stressed?”. Miranda will also share how to recognise any triggers for stress and coping mechanisms. Plus, many more expert guest speakers are on the day’s agenda to look at resilience and life at work post-Covid.
The half-day will start at 9.00am and ends at midday. The content is aimed at all members of staff and everyone in your school community will find benefit in attending, with zero cost to schools. Strictly Education’s HR and Governance teams will be on-hand to facilitate the day.
